The Livingston Symphony Orchestra is one of the finest regional ensembles in the State of New Jersey.  With roots in suburban Essex County, the group has been delighting audiences since 1956. Livingston Symphony Orchestra continues to bring together the community of music lovers from far and wide to celebrate the greatest works ever composed.

Notice: Next rehearsal is Tuesday, October 21st,
2014 at 7:30PM at the Livingston High School Orchestra room, 30 Robert Harp Dr, Livingston, NJ. Pieces being rehearsed:
Wagner, Operatic selections, Dvorak 4th and 3rd, Vaughan Williams 2, 3, 4. All musicians are requested to attend. This will be a year of big changes, and we would like everyone to be involved.
 

LSO 2014-2015 Concert Season

This will be a year of big changes for the Livingston Symphony Orchestra, as our Conductor of 30 years, Maestro Istvan Jaray, stepped-down as our Conductor and Musical Director at the end of the 2013-2014 season. We will be having a series of guest conductors while we search for the conductor who will best fit the needs of the LSO.

Musicians Needed!

LSO is currently looking for more musicians to join us, particularly in the string section. Violas especially are needed. We also are looking for trumpets and trombone, as well as percussion.
